Gastronomic Circuit: Discover the Restaurants and Bars in Posadas
This summer, more than 120,000 people have already enjoyed the beaches of Posadas. As another hot Sunday approaches, the city is gearing up to welcome even more visitors with an array of gastronomic proposals and outdoor activities. The dining options and available discounts through the Ahora Gastronomía program add to the allure.
The gastronomic circuit of Posadas is a major tourist attraction, stretching from the beaches of El Brete and Costa Sur to the corners of downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. Posadeña’s culinary offerings are distinguished by a mix of indigenous flavors and gourmet offerings available in restaurants and bars with views of the Paraná River.
Diners can enjoy river fish, galetos, and signature regional cuisine, without overlooking vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. International cuisine locales – including Asian, Mexican, Peruvian, Paraguayan, and Brazilian – enrich the culinary scene. This is complemented by a circuit of artisan breweries and spaces specializing in wines, offering unique experiences.
Among the gastronomic novelties, Hatapy is the latest addition to Costa Sur. This restaurant offers a buffet with over 30 dishes, focusing on premium meat cuts and regional specialties. With a capacity for 180 covers, it offers quinchos for events by reservation and provides employment to 40 young Misioneros. The establishment combines a grill and buffet with a selection of 20 hot dishes, 10 cold dishes, and desserts, complemented by a grill.
Another standout option is found on the Coastal Road, where Itakuá highlights the traditional flavors of Misiones. The menu includes more than 16 fish-based proposals such as surubí, pacú, boga, and salmon, offering everything from day’s catch empanadas to salmon and ricotta sorrentinos and the iconic surubí Karai-Guasu.
Alongside these establishments, restaurants like Beerlin, Lucciano’s, Dean & Dennys, Antares, Holy, Cachalote, Rustic, Gluck, El Rancho, and La Ruedita offer a varied selection extending throughout the Coastline, complemented by the presence of food trucks in Costa Sur.
Posadas is reaffirmed as a destination that combines recreational and ecological activities, a warm climate, and a wide range of gastronomic offerings. The Municipality invites residents and tourists to participate in free initiatives and enjoy the public spaces that the city has transformed for collective enjoyment.
Misiones is considered one of Argentina’s largest tourist attractions, hosting one of the seven natural wonders of the world amidst lush nature, and offering in its capital a vast gastronomic circuit running along the Paraná River. In this context, the beaches of Posadas, El Brete, and Costa Sur stand out as the most popular choices.
