The ninth edition of UNA+ once again demonstrated that events promoted and strengthened by the Municipality of Posadas not only enrich the city’s cultural calendar but also generate a tangible and measurable economic impact.
According to a report prepared by the Municipal Economic Observatory, the February 7 edition—held at La Cascada venue—mobilized an estimated $99,292,155.5 within the local economy.
This figure includes $44,525,630.3 in direct sales, along with the application of the restaurant-sector multiplier, a tool used to calculate the ripple effect of initial spending across other segments of the productive chain.
An Event that Drives Consumption and Local Production
UNA+, organized by the Mboyeré Beer Cluster in partnership with the Municipality, attracted 5,200 attendees and featured 21 craft beer and food entrepreneurs.
Beyond direct sales, participating businesses made purchases totaling $12,900,600 from local Posadas suppliers, further strengthening the city’s production network. The estimated economic impact of those purchases reached $29,155,356.
The multiplier applied—corresponding to the restaurant sector—measures the direct and indirect effects of spending. In practical terms, it means that every peso spent during the event generates additional activity for suppliers, distributors, and related businesses.
