La Oma: Ingrid Grudke’s New Yerba Mate Arrives at Zafra Market in Posadas

The Misiones-born model’s new yerba mate brand, inspired by her family roots and a heartfelt tribute to her mother, is now available at Zafra Market in the provincial capital.

A new product from Misiones is reaching consumers in Posadas. La Oma, the yerba mate brand recently launched by model and entrepreneur Ingrid Grudke, has arrived at Zafra Market, bringing a new name to the province’s traditional yerba mate industry.

Officially introduced in October 2026, La Oma represents a personal and professional milestone for Grudke, who was born in Los Helechos, Misiones. The project connects her family history with one of the province’s most emblematic products.

A tribute to her mother and her roots

The name La Oma carries a special meaning. It is inspired by Grudke’s mother, affectionately known within the family as “Oma,” the German word for grandmother. The brand reflects the values, memories and family traditions that have accompanied Grudke throughout her life.

For the entrepreneur, the launch goes beyond introducing a new product to the market. It represents the realization of a long-held project that connects her personal story with the agricultural heritage of Misiones.

The first production batch was prepared for distribution across Argentina, with Grudke celebrating the completion of the packaging process and the beginning of this new business venture.

Yerba mate made in Misiones

La Oma is a yerba mate with stems, made using raw material from yerba mate farms in Misiones. According to the product information, it undergoes 18 months of natural aging, a process intended to balance its flavors and deliver a smooth infusion.

The product initially comes in 500-gram packages, with packaging designed to help protect its aroma and flavor.

The launch also highlights the importance of Misiones as a center of yerba mate production, an industry that supports local growers, processors and businesses while preserving a tradition deeply embedded in Argentine culture.

Where to find La Oma in Posadas

With its arrival at Zafra Market, La Oma takes another step toward reaching consumers in the provincial capital. Residents and visitors can now look for Ingrid Grudke’s new yerba mate brand at this local retail outlet.

For Misiones, the launch represents another connection between local identity, entrepreneurship and a product recognized throughout Argentina. For Grudke, it is a way to bring a piece of her family history to consumers through a tradition shared daily across the country.

La Oma is now available at Zafra Market in Posadas, adding a new locally rooted brand to the province’s yerba mate market.
