Map of Campsites, Cabins, Complexes, Clubs, and Beaches in Misiones
In celebration of the World Tourism Day, observed every 27th of September, the Provincial Institute of Statistics and Censuses (IPEC) has announced a significant addition to their cartographic resources. The newly released Map of campsites, cabins, complexes, clubs, and beaches of Misiones offers a comprehensive overview of the province’s rich array of tourist accommodations and activities available as of 2025.
The map diligently pinpoints the location of 253 establishments spread across the entire province of Misiones. These are categorized into five distinct types: 135 campsites, 48 cabins, 35 complexes, 20 clubs, and 15 beaches/pools. The detailed classification facilitates easy identification based on the type of accommodation visitors may seek.
Further enhancing its utility, the map categorizes these establishments according to the four major tourist regions of Misiones: North, Center, Alto Uruguay, and South. This regional segmentation helps tourists and local visitors alike to easily pinpoint and explore the various tourism options available throughout the province.
The creation of this map was made possible by utilizing data from the Camping Guide of the Ministry of Tourism of the Province of Misiones. Drawing from this comprehensive resource, IPEC was able to depict the geographic distribution of these offerings, alongside essential information about each site, including their locations and services offered.
Now available within the IPEC’s Mapoteca, this valuable resource can be accessed and downloaded, along with other thematic maps of Misiones. For those interested in exploring this detailed map, it is available online at IPEC’s website.
Through this endeavor, Misiones continues to foster its tourism sector by providing detailed, accessible data designed to enhance the travel experience of visitors, helping them discover the best that the region has to offer.
